About the Position:

Hogan Motor Leasing Company is currently seeking Sales Consultants to join our growing team in the Kansas City and Indianapolis markets. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to transition into a smaller environment where he or she can make a big impact.  We offer the best of both worlds – an entrepreneurial company that values its employees coupled with competitive compensation (base plus commission) and outstanding benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, and a 401k plan.

 

This position, which reports to the Vice President of Sales, includes the following responsibilities:

 Call on and close commercial accounts that are privately held, having multiple trucks with a GVW of 26,000 lbs or more up to and including tractor/trailers that gross 80,000 lbs.Generate and be persistent at following up on leads.  Close large ticket deals for terms ranging from 3 years to 10 years in length based on vehicle type and its application.Work with the team to increase our client base, explore ways to better serve existing clients while prospecting new clients, ensure repeat business, and to identify and overcome obstacles in the selling process.  Learn the company culture and its product offerings.  Use consultative selling skills, problem solving and creativity to position the company’s high quality service as a benefit to clients.  Build relationships with others in the company to get results.  .

What we need:5+ years of successful sales experience as a “top” sales rep with a demonstrative track record of overcoming obstacles, closing accounts and developing and maintaining client relationships. Experience in the Full Service Leasing industry is preferable, but not required.  Must be able to research target markets, competition, and the services being offered.  Must be a driven self-starter who demonstrates the ability to function independently without large support resources.A Bachelor’s degree.
