Emergency Road Service Vehicle Operators Needed!

 

For over 100 years, members have trusted AAA for their Automotive, Travel and Insurance needs.  Our Emergency Road Service Fleet, based in Chicago, is seeking Service Vehicle Operators/Tow Truck Operators.

 

Our Service Vehicle Operators uphold our tradition of quality service and provide Emergency Road Service to members and non-members, including battery boost, tire changes, lock-out and towing services. We operate a 24-hour operation and employees may be assigned schedules, which include hours on both 1st and/or 2nd shift.

 

We are looking for experienced drivers with: Knowledge of automotive repair and service techniquesKnowledge of towing procedures and practicesExcellent customer service skillsGood driving record and valid Illinois/Indiana Class C non CDL Drivers License or ability to obtain permit prior to start.Previous experience operating a tow truck a plus.ASE Certifications (A6 or A*) or ASE Master Tech Certification preferred.Willingness to work mandatory overtime due to severe and/or extended weather conditions and/or severe staffing shortages.For insurance purposes candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
