We provide diesel and alternative-fueled engines and power generation systems as well as sales, parts, service, and engineered solutions.  At five certified Coach Care locations, we deliver top-to-bottom RV coach service.  Most importantly, we strive to build our customers’ trust through responsive customer support. Cummins Power South values its employees, and we want to equip each to be successful.  We promote from within, provide training opportunities, and encourage learning and growth at every level of our organization.  About the opportunity: Currently, we are recruiting for a Staff Accountant for our Corporate Office in Atlanta.  This position reports directly to the Assistant Controller and will be involved in the daily activities of the accounting department.  This position will be responsible for general accounting and compliance with GAAP and company policies.  This position will also assist in developing, monitoring, and sustaining internal controls and best practices.  Core Responsibilities:  General ledger accounting Month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, analysis, and financial reporting Account reconciliations Assist in control audits and miscellaneous projects as needed Requirements:  Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships Problem solving and analytical abilities for complex problems Ability to prioritize assignments and projects with time constraints Background in leading change efforts that add value to the organization.
