TRAVEL AGENT

Job Description
Position serves as primary contact to service members in the store environment providing information, sales and service connected with domestic and international travel. Cross-sells and up-sells memberships and various travel-related products.

 

Job Qualifications

· Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and less than 36 months travel agency sales experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasked work environment involving sales and customer service with face-to-face client interaction.

· Historical sales performance as determined by current compensation plan. Limited experience in selling international destinations, group travel and leisure FIT travel planning.

· Good communication customer service, sales, organizational and problem-solving skills

· Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and industry CRS

· Flexible

· Possess ability to work independently and interdependently as part of a team

· Capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Limited travel education that may include graduation from travel school and/or apprentice work in a travel-related field as well as vendor sales training.
