Technical Helpline Engineers Provide technical assistance to Land Rover and Jaguar retail technicians via the Technical Hotline and FRED (Fixed Right Enhanced Diagnostics). Input information gathered during Hotline contact into CATs database. Provide prompt telephone replies to technical questions, requests for diagnostic help, parts applications, and repair procedures. Maintain and update a technical library to be used by call center personnel during telephone contacts. Transmit pertinent product quality information to Product Investigation.  Must be able to work early or late shift as required.REQUIRED SKILLS: Dealership experience, diagnostics, overall vehicle repair, customer service, three to five years hands-on automotive technical experience. ASE Master Automotive Technician Certification necessary. PC literate with good typing skills, as well as strong telephone and communication skills (written and oral). Must be able to work with minimum supervision. SECONDARY SKILLS: BS in related field, Jaguar or Land Rover dealership experience a plus! Electrical and/or Engine Management Systems experience an added plus. Spanish language skills highly preferred.
