Web site Maintenance

Job Purpose:

Delivers information on the Internet by maintaining Web site operations, content, and images; developing technical architecture.

Duties:

* Maximizes site up-time by managing operations; resolving outages.

* Secures Internet service by analyzing and monitor security precautions.

* Keeps site up-to-date by refreshing content and images; recommending outside vendors.

* Recommends programming changes by analyzing traffic to the site.

* Develops technical architecture by scripting content; designing database and user interface.

* Develops Internet services by studying user needs.

* Updates job knowledge by tracking industry trends, including scripting, authoring and graphic design tools, new languages, and security; participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
