X-Ray/Holographer Analyst

Requirements

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company currently has an opening for a X-Ray/Holographer Analyst at its' corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio.

Primary Purpose of the Position:
The X-Ray/Holographer Analyst is responsible for all aspects of X-ray, holography, and shearography equipment to perform quality tests on all types of tires.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate x-ray and camera equipment.
* Operate shearography machine.
* Analyze results of tests and effectively communicate to production and Q-tech organizations as required.
* Perform lifting of tires as required throughout the shift
* Must be able to work any shift.
* Maintain records and files as required.


Qualifications:
Required-
* Two-year or higher level technical degree or high school graduate with comparable experience.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* Must have an excellent safety record and ability to follow precautions associated with x-ray and laser equipment.
* Minimum of general user computer skills.

Preferred-
* Knowledge of tire specifications desired.
