The Hybrid Electric Motor Design/Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing hybrid electric motor components for GM's World's Best Hybrid Powertrains. The individual will work with Powertrain Design and Development engineers, to develop requirements, design and implement production components. Support the test and development of Hybrid Motors and related components by demonstrating that requirements are met with analysis and dynamometer testing at GM's Test labs, Proving Grounds or Supplier locations. Strong teamwork and collaborative development skills are required. Creative people are encouraged to join a strong technical team moving the frontier of powertrain technology. Basic Required
BS Degree in Engineering with concentration in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent trainingWorking knowledge of electric motor operation and designWorking knowledge of electric motor testing and developmentWorking knowledge of motor construction and insulation systems
