AP Specialist

REQUIREMENTS: Perform Accounts Payable tasks under the direction of Accounts Payable Supervisor. These tasks include processing of invoices, reconciling supplier statements, resolving discrepancies, communicating with vendors, purchasing agents, and plant receiving personnel at all levels. Generate monthly and on-request account status reports for suppliers and management. This position is considered to be a preliminary career path to Financial and Accounting analyst positions within the Finance organization.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related area OR an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or related area plus one year of experience in Accounting/Accounts payable OR four years of experience in Accounting/Accounts Payable is required. Strong Excel, Word, Relational Database (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, or similar) skills required, as well as good communication skills. Prefer high level of competency in SAP. Potential candidates must demonstrate a high level of accuracy, accountability, and dependability.
