Accounts Payable Supervisor

We have an excellent opportunity for you to join a growing global automotive supplier as an Accounts Payable Supervisor at our Auburn Hills, Michigan location.

OVERVIEW:

This position will supervise and assist accounts payable representatives with problems and concerns with accounts and miscellaneous reporting.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures accounts payable function acts in accordance with company practices while meeting miscellaneous reporting.Supervises accounts payable departmentReconcile vendor accounts to insure proper managementWork with Purchasing to insure all pricing and other issues are addressedCash reporting activity Audits preliminary payment reports and prints checks as neededWork with plant controlling on payables related issues

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

Must have BA degree in Accounting or related field and 10 years experience in job offered, in an automotive environment.  5 years experience in accounting supervisor role.  SAP experience preferred.
