Air Applications Engineer

 Responsibilities Perform project engineering for engine air applications filtration products within APD and TS16949 framework Communicate directly with customers as required Perform product design and analysis Coordinate and/or perform product testing and complete reports and documentation Coordinate cost estimates with plant(s) and DCI purchasing Coordinate sample procurement activities Support production plant(s) as required Report project status to management as required Complete and maintain necessary documentation including engineering drawings, dFMEA's, and DVP&R's Provide technical support to customers through e-mail, faxes, telephone, and visits Provide technical support to production plants through e-mail, faxes, telephone, and visits Provide technical support for cost reduction initiatives Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering 3-5 years work experience in similar position Project management skills and experience Background or interest in filtration or particle technology Strong technical and analytical skills Good computer skills (FEA, CFD is desirable) Plastic part design experience is preferred Lean manufacturing and DFSS knowledge preferred Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Able to work independently, with minimal supervision Able to work in a fast moving, customer-focused environment We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, 401(k), Tuition Reimbursement, LTD, training and development and many other perks and benefits.
