Assistant Controller

Job Description Manheim New Jersey is currently seeking an Assistant Controller for our Accounting Department. This position reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for managing the financial controls and administration, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, credit, computer systems and internal controls.

Responsibilities Assist in managing the Auction's records and reports in compliance with established accounting policies and proceduresPrepare reports to summarize and forecast Auction business activity and financial positionEnsure check/draft deposits are made and funds are transferred in a timely manner Monitor Accounts Receivable and expenses to make sure they are kept current and within the limits of established credit policiesAssist and develop other employees as necessary on a continous basis

Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Accounting required. 3-5 years experience, Asst. Controller experience preferredCPA certification preferred
