Automobile Technician/Mechanic
Company Information:
Independent automotive repair facility specializing in high quality work on late model vehicles. Excellent reputation for vehicle diagnosis and preventive maintenance. Customer base includes the Greater Cincinnati area from Lebanon, OH to Florence, KY. In operation for 32 years.
Job Purpose:
Repair and perform maintenance to cars, SUV's and light trucks.
Duties:
*Inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotation and mounting, wheel balancing, wheel alignments.
*Verify vehicle problems by conducting test drives. Troubleshooting and diagnose vehicle problems. Repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions; replacing parts.
*Communicate with production manager regarding time and part estimates.
*Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Skills/Qualifications:
ASE Certification; Use electronic automotive diagnostic tools; Read diagnostic and wiring diagrams; Energetic, dependable, makes good use of time, good attendance, can work independently, safety conscious, problem solver, deals with complexities, analyzes information, good vocal and written communication skills.
