Our clients understand that our decades of industry experience give us unique insight and access to top talent at all levels.  A well established manufacturer seeks an experienced Design Engineer for one of its Southeastern locations.  This position is located in Tennessee – Apply only if you are able and willing to relocate for this opportunity. DESIGNER JOB SUMMARY:Prepare complex detail engineering drawings, engineering design layouts, 3d wireframe and solid models on CAD system.  Work is creative in basic design and independent judgment is needed to make decisions within guidelines of company practices, standards and specifications.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Prepare correct and/or revise detailed drawings via CAD system. · Analyze problems and make design calculations. · Prepare general specifications · Develop creative sketches and drawings. · Prepare moderately complex layouts and models from design objectives. · Prepare engineering records, releases, bills of materials. · Maintain documentation and records. · Frequent contact with others outside the work group.  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of Associates Degree with Pro E, Unigrapics, or Solid Works. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: · Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities. · Participative work style – team oriented. · Well-developed interpersonal skills.  Ability to get along with diverse personalities.  Tactful, mature. · Ability to establish credibility and be decisive. · Good communications skills, written and verbal. · Results oriented with a high level of initiative.  This is a terrific opportunity with a great company that offers great salary, benefits and growth opportunity.
