Our clients understand that our decades of industry experience give us unique insight and access to top talent at all levels.  A well established manufacturer in the automotive sector seeks an experienced Quality Engineer for one of its Southeastern locations.  This position is located in Tennessee – Apply only if you are able and willing to relocate for this opportunity. JOB SUMMARY:   Engineering position requiring technical problem analysis and communication and  engineering standard development. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Practices Root Cause Analysis and problem solving. · Inspection Method, Technical Report, Specifications, and Procedure development. · Facilitates Continuous Improvement teams. · Serves as the champion of the customer’s interests in internal activities involving TS 16949 issues.  · Supports Operations group to meet productivity and quality targets.  · Serves as customer contact with regard to customer quality issues.  · TS 16949 Auditing (Internal and External) · Support company in APQP activities.  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: · BS degree in engineering  · 3 + years experience in the quality field. · Knowledge of TS 16949 Quality System · Experience in Instrumentation Calibration/Metrology  - a plus · Automotive OEM experience. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: · Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities. · Participative work style. · Ability to establish credibility and be decisive. · Good communications skills, written and verbal. · Results oriented with a high level of initiative.  This is a terrific opportunity with a great company that offers great salary, benefits and growth opportunity.
