BOS Quality Coordinator

Automotive GroupThis position is at the Kansas City, MO JIT Plant  1.0 Position Summary- The BOS Coordinator is responsible to exceed the increasing customer’s expectations through the teamwork and Plant Quality systems.-  Quality systems should be maintained and improved over the time.-  This position has direct responsibility to plan and execute Quality BOS deliverables.-  BOS Quality procedures development and maintainability. 2.0 Scope  This applies to the Kansas City facility. 3.0 Responsibility 3.1 Define the BOS Objectives and obtain Quality mgr approval of targets.  Lead Plant cross-functional teams to ensure that the BOS objectives are met. 3.2 Responsible to coordinate and achieve BOS / TS 16949 certifications. 3.3 Develop the process to implement, achieve and maintain BOS / TS 16949.  3.4 Maintain Document control per BOS requirements.   3.5 Responsible to deploy BOS Corporate strategic implementation plans. 3.6 Responsible to coordinate BOS/TS 16949 Internal and external party audits for proper certification processes. 3.7 Responsible to audit the BOS / TS 16949 processes and procedures in continuous basis. 3.8 Responsible to train and work the different Plant departments and teams in regards to the BOS procedures and TS 16949 requirements. 3.9 Responsible to provide awareness when changes and/or updates are included in BOS procedures and /or TS 16949 to all different plant teams. 3.10  Responsible to train an internal team of auditors. 3.11  Develop and maintain a schedule for all BOS / TS 16949 internal and external party audits. 3.12  Responsible to maintain all Plant BOS information updated in the BOS Live link Internet. 3.13  Responsible to prevent any Non-conformity issue, if any one is non-conformity is detected during any audit then coordinates the resolution process and response on time. 3.14  Promote Safety to all team members, Customers and Suppliers.  3.15  Perform job functions in accordance with set policies and procedures to ensure preservation of the Company Quality Policy. 3.16 Support the comprehensive continuous improvement philosophy for all Johnson Controls disciplines. 4.1 Education Requirements: 4.1.1  A high school diploma minimum is required.  Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. 4.1.2  Specific education and training in TS16949, and/or as Lead assessor.  4.1.3  Candidates must demonstrate solid skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and ability to inspire individuals to improve performance. 4.2   Experience Requirements: 4.2.1  Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment and with TS 16949Standards.  4.2.2  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Lotus notes. 4.2.3  Organizational and administrative skills related to documentation and record keeping. 4.2.4 Ability to speak effectively before groups of team members or customers
