Responsibilities:Transforms solid models created by design engineers into working documents. Creates bill of materials, engineering change orders and other related documentation under the direction of engineers.  Maintains engineering documentation database.  Participates in administration of CAD (Pro-e) system.  Provides CAD models to Manufacturing Engineer for CNC programming. 

 

Requirements:Understanding of GD&T as well as general dimensioning and tolerance practices is required.  Pro-e and system administration experience desirable but not required. Some solid modeling experience is desirable.  Associates degree in CAD Drafting and 2-4 years experience is required. 

 

Additional Information:CAD Drafter relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Reports to Mechanical R&D manager. A wide range of creativity and latitude is expected.
