CATIA V5 Designer (2 month contract, Grand Rapids)

 

Contract CATIA Designer position located in Grand Rapids. Primary responsibilities are to provide CAD support to Product Design teams. 3D CAD Solid Modeling, Customer Design changes, Design Standards, 3D-point charts, and Assemblies. Design and model components from Engineering input. Design revisions and complete detail of all components. Familiarity with GD&T is a plus. Some of the following experience is preferred:  3D Solid Modeling skills, (some Surfacing a plus), Automotive, Stampings, Tooling, Weldments.  The pay range is $35/hr. More experienced Designers in Detroit would definitely be considered, however the pay range is set and geared lower to try and land local talent first. We do have an arrangement with a motel in G.
