CIM (VB) Engineer Needed
Software Engineer – Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in the development and implementation of applications relating to the mistake proofing and functionality of production work cell controllers.
· Development of production software relating to trace ability, prior step and other manufacturing support applications.
· Perform assignments involving the planning and execution of a project of limited scope or a portion of larger, more diverse projects relating to MIS needs.
· Provide technical support to production and to MIS engineers.
· Troubleshoot existing MIS systems to minimize production downtime and insure smooth system operation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
· BS Computer Sciences or related field, with a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience.
· 4-7 Yrs Experience with Visual Basic language or VB.NET or have MCP Certification and 3 Yrs minimum Experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Server Technologies.
· Database access experience with ADO and MS Access, MS SQL Server, or Oracle
· Experience with Microsoft O/Ss.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
· MS Degree in Computer Sciences or related field.
· Experience interfacing with automation systems running PLC, Digital IO, Serial Communications.
· Experience interfacing with bar-code scanning equipment.
· Web development skills – HTML, ASP, XML, JAVA, JSCRIPT, VBSCRIPT,
· Oracle Database experience.
· Database Experience using SQL Server
· Experience using Novell Networks
