Field Service Engineer – CNC Machine Tools Position Description:1.  OEM CNC Machine Tool Manufacturer has an opening for a Field Service Engineer to travel to customer sites to service the machines. Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics and controls. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and installs.2.  If you are tired and bored with going to the same place and doing the same thing every day, then this position offers tremendous variety. You travel to new places and see different processes and applications every day. 3.  Position offers excellent benefits including Paid OT, Paid travel time, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability insurance, 3 weeks vacation, 11 paid holidays, and 401K plan.4.  The successful candidate must reside near a major Airport.5.  Approximately 80% out of town (overnight) travel is required.  There is very little weekend travel. Requirements: 1.  Experience working on CNC controlled equipment, machine tools and/or other forms of manufacturing equipment.2.  Must be willing to travel 80%.3.  Strong electronic troubleshooting skills.4.  Strong mechanical aptitude.5.  Strong electrical aptitude.6.  Ability to read electrical schematics.7.  Ability to read mechanical drawings.8.  Experience working on hydraulics.9.  Experience working on pneumatics.10.
