Communication Manager

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSREQUIREMENTS: •Develops and owns communications activities supporting Customer Service Excellence Team and ensure aftermarket messaging is consistently communicated for all DTNA channels and strategic partners.•Coordinate with Corporate Communications and DTNA Brand Marketing groups to ensure internal and external communications meet brand positioning initiatives and requirements.•Provide support to department management and Senior Vice President, including presentations, speeches, newsletters and other communications activities as needed. •Develop and support initiatives to improve internal and external aftermarket communications, such as:−Media advertising development and placement−Public Relations −Sales literature, collateral and displays−eBulletins electronic communications−Image asset management•Develop and manage trade show concepts and presence for parts and service at industry events, including coordinating and integrating trade show strategies with other DTNA business units. •Maintain and enforce Alliance Parts private label brand Graphic Guidelines and Brand Identity Standards internally, with dealers, suppliers and others. Counsel on correct usage in areas including:−Brand packaging −Collateral −Promotional items•Manage the development, administration, communications and execution of dealer incentive and loyalty programs.•Coordinate department-wide planning efforts and implementation of North American Parts Sales programs.•Manage Parts Expert self-paced dealer training program and coordinate alignment of training efforts throughout DTNA business units.•Coordinate and direct efforts of external advertising agencies and program vendors.•Support research projects to gauge marketing communications activities effectiveness.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related business field. Masters degree in marketing, communications or related discipline preferred. Minimum five years professional experience in corporate communications, marketing or ad agency. Excellent communication, writing and proofing skills. Strong organizational, budget management, project management, interpersonal and presentation skills. Must have proficiency in MS Office and advanced level Power Point. Ability to provide clear and consistent direction and parameters to agency personnel. Must be able to critique creative designs and ad copy. Some travel required.
