Reporting to the Continuousl Improvement Manager, the position will lead the lean conversion at the local facility and support the efforts to ensure standardization of the changes. Other responsibilities will be to lead Kaizen and 5 S activities, prepare current state and future state value stream maps based upon lean techniques and best practices. Facilitate the changes needed based upon the strategic direction of the organization and value stream analysis. Assist with the management of 5 S activities and the suggestion system program.
Requires 4 year engineering or Technical degree, Industrial Engineering is preferred. Background or training with Toyota Production Systems/Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Experience requirements are 2 years in a technical role supporting manufacturing processes, Experience with Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard work, Work combination tables, Line Balancing, Process Flow.
