Controls Engineer

Production Products, Inc. - A Tier I manufacturer of precision metal stampings supplying the automotive industry - is searching for a highly motivated Controls Engineer to join our Team.  Successful applicants will possess a high level of initiative, the understanding and importance of continuous improvements, safety, teamwork, and satisfying the customer.

Production Products, Inc. is located in Columbus Grove, Ohio.

Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager, will have the responsibility for maintaining and developing all required software within the plant including operational and technical support to drive continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Development and implementation of effective software changes to improve the production capabilities to achieve the highest performance possible;Support and develop methods to improve transfer press uptime;Ensure that all software changes are correctly done and documented in accordance with TS 164949 & ISO 14001 requirements;Supports continuous improvement activities and the safety of all Team Members;Approves process specification and design standards on electrical matters;Develops and implements software changes to improve production capabilities;Coordinate, plan and implement all electrical controls related projects as assigned; andEngineering consultant and trainer to other departments
