Coordinator Network

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSREQUIREMENTS: •Provides ongoing support for monitoring and maintaining network availability, server hardware, operating systems and application processing on all platforms. Also, monitors and maintains the Computer room environment and physical security. •Monitors LAN /WAN performance, response times and availability of Network devices for escalation to Network Services. •Works with telecommunications service providers to report trouble issues.•Monitors server hardware and coordinates a corrective action with vendor and Technical service.•Collects and analyzes trend data to identify and isolate the causes of degraded systems performance and provides alternatives to resolve problems with minimum impact to online systems and production processing. •Analyzes Mainframe and SAP job processes that end abnormally to ensure proper resolutions. Works with necessary support personnel to resolve and schedule job reruns or re-starts as needed.•Handle and/or respond to escalations as appropriate.•Identifies and responds actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers and is open and responsive to change. •May provide Level One helpdesk duties for IT and Freightliner Software during non business hours.•Updates problem reporting systems by logging pertinent data from users and Technical support. This includes maintaining various logs.•Supports Coordinator I in their interactions with customers, vendors and Technical staff.•Performs special projects as required. •Available to work off hour shifts and weekends (normal week consists of three 12hr shifts)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree and four years of job related experience in a data processing environment; or a high school degree and six years job related experience in a data processing environment. Must have an ability to provide positive customer service and communication, problem solving skills. Proficiency in relevant operating systems, applications and/or languages is required.
