QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe Customer Assistance Center operates in a fast-paced 24-hour, 7 day-a-week environment. As a CSR I you’ll field inquiries from dealers and customers throughout the United States and Canada. You will assist them by resolving problems related to the continued operation of the growing brand of Freightliner, Western Star and Sterling trucks.REQUIREMENTS: Coordinate roadside assistance and/or provide general support for owner-operators and fleets according to the policies outlined under specific programs including – Fleetpack/Pinnacle, Excelerator, Alliance Service Advantage, MileMinder, Sterling CompleteLease and Customer Protection Package. Provide roadside support for all new trucks in transit. Work with dealers and service providers to minimize truck downtime. Respond to customer complaints and provide advanced dealer/customer and dealer/dealer mediation – always working toward win-win solutions. Work with field personnel and issue policy dollars when appropriate. Answer general customer questions related to products, services and provide warranty verification via phone/e-mail. Utilize Remedy to document and code all inbound calls/e-mails. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or Associates degree and 1-2 years experience in the automotive, truck or customer service field or 1 year of additional experience in lieu of Associates degree (2 years experience). Broad working knowledge of the Freightliner LLC product line, heavy-duty truck industry, customer/dealer environment. Superior customer service and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to type 40 + words per minute and work with various computer applications simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred. Willingness to work various shift schedules.
