We have recently been retained by our client, a leading organization in Industrial Sales, to source and qualify a Diesel Engine & Emergency Generator Technician. Our client is involved in the sales, maintenance, service, repair and rentals of motors, power generated equipment and belting supplies. Our client targets the industrial, commercial and municipal operations with the highest quality mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and components available in the industry.

 

As the Diesel Engine & Emergency Generator Technician, you would be joining a team at our client’s modern facilities in Watervliet, NY. The ideal candidate will be familiar with reciprocating engines, electrical and power generation principles and be able to conduct routine maintenance, repair and load testing up to 2,000kw. The ideal candidate should have 5 years minimum experience and the capability of working on all types of combustion engines, including:

Strong troubleshooting skills of both mechanical and electrical situations are preferred. Truck and tools are provided for field assignments.
