Diesel Truck and Trailer Mechanic Skills Required: heavy duty truck repair, trailer repair, mobile field service, BIT/DOT Certification, ASE Certifications, hydraulic / air brake systems Job Description: We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Diesel Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join a leading provider of on-site fleet maintenance and repair service in Southern California. Qualified candidates for this outstanding career opportunity must possess the following: - Minimum of 3 years truck and trailer repair experience - Mobile field service experience preferred - BIT/DOT Inspection and Air Brake Certification - ASE or similar trade certifications - Strong diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills - Experience with Pro-Link or similar computer diagnostic equipment - Strong knowledge of hydraulic/air brake systems, electrical and suspension - Familiar with both import and domestic trucks - Strong Character and Work Ethic Success in this position requires professional, self-starting individuals who can work independently and manage an assigned work load on a daily basis. All work is performed from a fully equipped, 'state of the art', mobile service vehicle. To be considered you must have the tools necessary to perform the job duties as described.
