Director, OE Sales

Description This position is responsible for gathering information on OE market, analyzing it to position Company, coordinating among relevant departments with Company to be ready to take orders, negotiating with auto manufacturers, and dealing with all transactions in regard to sales and post sales issues. Major Accountabilities:1.Develops and maintains rapport with existing and prospective auto manufacturing customers to gather information leading to sales opportunities.2.Analyzes the information to decide whether to pursue the opportunities.3.Coordinates among the relevant departments within Company to be ready for manufacturing OE tires.4.Initiates negotiations with prospects in terms of price, specifications, quantity, due date and all other conditions.5.Oversees and takes control of designing, manufacturing, shipping and billing.6.Takes good care of customers on post sales claims and warranties.7.Monitors operating budget to ensure proper use of fund and to stay within the budget.8.Other tasks as requested by the superior.Requirements Experience Required: At least 10 years experience in the tire industry to acquire the overall knowledge of tire manufacturing, costing and auto manufacturing, including minimum of 5 years of managerial position. Skills required:  Tire technical knowlege. Auto technical knowledge. Moderate computer knowledge. Good verbal and written communication. Good business judgement. Bilingual in Japanese required.
