ESX Senior System Administrator

Our client is looking for someone to join their team for a long term contract.  The ideal candidate will have:

* In depth technical knowledge of server virtualization and its benefits is required* Experience in VMWare ESX 2.5.2 or higher. * Experience in Windows Operating systems from a system administrator perspective.* Working knowledge of the ITIL approach to IT service management for level three positions. * Hands-on experience supporting server infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. * Experience with Tivoli server monitoring as a server monitoring solution and enterprise level experience supporting 300 + servers within a data center environment. (Preferred) * Knowledge of vMotion and Physical to Virtual (P2V) tools such as Platespin. (Preferred) * Experience in project management methodologies. * Experience leading a small team of general salary role and/or agency team members and have the ability to insure that assigned tasks are completed on time and under budget and with a proven track record of delivery against stated objectives. * Knowledge of Visual Basic scripting is preferred.

Experience Required: 
Six (6) + years hands-on experience supporting server infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education Required: 
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience. Certification in VMWare ESX server administration (v 2.5.2 or higher) as well as a current certification from Microsoft in Windows 2003 (preferred) or Windows 2000. 

Education Preferred: 
Master's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred.
