Position Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for managing programs through the Electrical Engineering Department.  Responsibilities for this position include: leading a cross functional team during the development of a program; managing the program through the use of Gantt Charts, Open Issues Lists, and other Program Management tools; acting as a liaison to OEM Engineering groups.  A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, along with 5-10 years experience is preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and feasibility, as well as a good understanding of electrical design requirements and practices preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to apply engineering principles.

 

Skills:

Conduct brainstorming and design review meetings to develop and evaluate design solutions.

Manage and run design projects from initial concept stage through final shipment release.

Receive and document customer feedback and Marketing requests for product design improvements and establish project plans accordingly.

Initiate and review Engineering Change Orders for design considerations and proper justification.

Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers to address and resolve product quality and process issues.

 

Position Qualifications:

1. Troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.

2. Electrical design skills.

3. Knowledge of ORCAD or related electrical design software.

4. Strong fundamental engineering skills.

5. A very high level of attention to detail.

6. An outstanding work ethic.

 

Work Experience Requirements:

1. 5-10 years of Project/Program Supervision, electrical design related experience preferred.

 

Educational Requirements:Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or higher level degree.
