Electronic Controls and Repair Technician

 JOB PURPOSE: Provides technical support and resources to manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities.  Ensures that manufacturing equipment, facilities, and processes are maintained at the highest level of safety, quality, productivity, and capability. KEY JOB ELEMENTS:· Must understand process/theory of product testing and assembly.· Perform measurement evaluations of component dimensional and physical requirements utilizing common gauging.· Identify areas for continuous improvement and cost reduction.·   Install, maintain, and repair all production and engineering equipment.· Maintain and repair facilities, grounds, and utilities.· Fabricate, maintain, and repair mechanical and electronic/electrical equipment.· Assemble wires, controls, and electrical components according to print.· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical circuits.· Install electrical assemblies and hardware.· Recommend changes in existing procedures and/or processes.· Follow and enforce department and company processes and procedures like quality, safety, etc.EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:· Continued education towards an Associates Degree in the electrical/electronics field or five years manufacturing experience in a related field preferred.· Excellent verbal, written communication and human relation skills.· Good organizational, time management and PC skills.

· Experience with blueprints and schematics.

· Basic knowledge of SPC.

· Lockout/Tagout Training and other job-related certifications.

· Experience with Industrial Electricity, Industrial Mechanics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLC.
