Job Description  Toyota Technical Center, the R&D division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, has an excellent opportunity for an Engineer within our Engineering Design Powertrain (EDP) department, located in Ann Arbor, MI. Responsibilities: Perform noise and vibration analysis on engine mounted components and powertrain system. Provide design suggestions to Design Engineers based on CAE and test results. Support job requests for Toyota Technical Center (TTC) and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in Japan. Perform other duties as assigned.  M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of engine-related experience. Expert in use of NASTRAN, EXCITE and SYSNOISE for noise and vibration analysis. Knowledge of use of shaker/hammering to measure frequency and mode shapes. Knowledge of application of FEA methods for reducing vibration and noise. Extensive knowledge of meshing for noise and vibration. Japanese language skills a plus. Willingness to travel. It’s built around growth. We are dedicated to supporting your professional development.
