Job Description  Toyota Technical Center, the R&D division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, has an excellent opportunity for a Cost Planner within our Cost Planning department, located in Ann Arbor, MI. Responsibilities Determine feasibility of cost reduction proposals for future North American assembled vehicles. Internal and competitor cost analysis. Identify cost reduction opportunities based on benchmark results. Lead and/or support testing and verification of cost reduction proposals to Toyota standards. Arrange/organize cost reduction competition for select commodities. Support follow-up of VE/VA proposals. Track department cost driving vehicle development.  BS in engineering discipline. MBA is a plus. 5 years working in product engineering or program management environment with OEM or Tier 1 supplier. Experience working in cross functional team (Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing & Suppliers). Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Familiar with MS Office.
