Job Description  Toyota Technical Center, the R&D division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, has an excellent opportunity for an Engineer within our Electronic Systems 2 (ES2) department, located in Ann Arbor, MI. Responsibilities Design and develop vehicle telematics systems in support of Toyota's North American projects. Resolve design, evaluation, quality, manufacturing, and field issues related to vehicle telematics systems. Supplier management and development. Perform liaison activities between Toyota Japan, Toyota North American affiliates and North American supply base. Perform other duties as required (benchmarking, market research, etc.).  B.S. degree and 1 - 8 years experience in electrical systems and components. Background or interest in automotive systems and components and/or telematics (Mayday, Navigation and Hands Free Telephone) systems.  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
