Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager (m/f)

The goal of this function is to support and co-ordinate the risk control activities for the Division Automotive with regard to all types of environmental, health, safety risks in close collaboration with Rieter Group Risk Management Department as well as to deploy our environmental policy and ECO-strategy within the organisation. It consists also to promote EHS communication internally and externally and to support EHS functions globally, develop solutions for environmental assessment at all stage of production and product and reporting. Local support of the units is done by site visits. You will work with line management and local EHS responsibles to ensure continuous improvement in EHS management system. In this position you will be also concerned with the development and standardisation of the safety strategy and its implementation. The position requires an university level degree, majoring in environmental engineering and/or an examination in CIA with minimum five years’ work experience in the field of EHS, preferably in an industrial environment. To be successful, you possess an analytical, pragmatic approach and problem solving capabilities You express yourself precisely in German and English, any further language skills are an advantage.
