Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator

/ Responsible for assignments related to occupational safety and health. Develops, coordinates and implements the facilities industrial hygiene program. Duties include providing assistance and advice to supervision, identifying and monitoring actual or potential hazards in the workplace in accordance with prescribed procedures and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Conducts routine surveys to determine the nature and extent of unsafe work practices and recommends corrective actions. Maintains facility ISO 14001 system, training database, and site security. Completes all necessary environmental, health and safety monitoring and reporting for facility. Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent of 8 years experience and specialized training. Certified Safety Professional certification preferred. Excellent computer skills including MS Access programming ability preferred. Polished presentation skills and demonstrated ability to get along in a manufacturing environment.
