Facilities Engineer

 

 

Dynax America, a well established growing supplier to the automotive industry located in  Roanoke Virginia has an immediate opening for the following position:

 

Facilities Engineer

 

This position is responsible for improving the day to day operations, maintenance, and engineering activities of the facility.  As the Facilities Engineer you oversee the planning, design, reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, building, structures, and utilities.  Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. 

 

Requirements:

-2 or 4 year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

 

-5 years facility engineering experience including building operation and maintenance, project planning, and building construction and/or improvement projects.

 

-  Strong mechanical, electrical engineering, and instrumentation technical skills.  Ability to troubleshoot/repair PLC equipment preferred.

.

- Knowledge of HVAC design and ability to troubleshoot and direct corrective actions and repairs associated with HVAC.

 

-Maintenance experience with facility equipment and utilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.

 

- AutoCAD knowledge/use highly desirable.

 

-  Ideal candidates must possess the ability to direct facility and maintenance staff in repairs, upkeep, and improvements of major facilities and equipment assets.
