Provide Field Quality Engineering support to assist customer to resolve quality issues involving our products. Establish and implement the containment plans for the non-conforming product at customer sites. Review and communicate to customers on 8D reports to customers provided by the Business Unit Quality Engineers. Follow-up of customer situations and 8D reports to ensure timely resolution of quality related issues. On-site customer visits. Assist in TS16949 or VDA6 or ISO activities. (Plymouth / JENA) Assist in warranty reporting as a method of Continuous Improvement. (Plymouth / JENA) Reporting of Customer quality issues. (Plymouth / JENA) Support customers and JE plant quality personnel in successfully completing the PPAP process. Monitor customer quality indicators (PPM, CAR, etc.) Monitor and control costs associated with any sorting operations. Work together with JE China quality team in meeting targets set in customers' 'supplier quality manuals.' Travel required up to 25%. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Physics or Materials Science, or other Technical Discipline is mandatory. Good working knowledge in both verbal and written English and local language. Working knowledge in Quality System (TS16949 or VDA6 or ISO 14001) and in Final Assembly is required. Working knowledge of PPAP process is required. Working knowledge in International Standards such as UL, CECC, ASTM, JIS, SAE, DIN, ISO, etc. Good understanding of Quality System / Audits, Incoming materials control, QFD, PFMEA, MSA, Statistical Process Control and basic Problem Solving Skills (Global 8D methodology) are required.
