QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTranslate Truck Sales Orders (TSOs) for FTL, product into vehicle specifications used for engineering documentation, material procurement, truck assembly. Maintain accurate vehicle specifications through truck change order activity.REQUIREMENTS: Expedite the incoming material for production builds for Dress Axle Program. Prioritize the line sequence majors, per the line partial build schedule. Provide line sequence reports for daily materials staging. Manage the Shortage Reporting System. Control on hand balances. Perform daily audits and adjust on hands in necessary. Perform daily central store audits. Perform cycle counts on identified parts. Work five day critical list, load to SR if necessary. Monitor excess inventory through reports. Advise suppliers of excess material, procure RGA’S for material returns. Monitor shop address, correct as material movements take place. View and monitor partial truck system for accuracy. Provide current information daily for the next shift to have a clean and accurate shift turn over. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in technical field plus two years experience or three to four years material planning experience in a production environment. Good working knowledge of automotive parts, terminology/technology preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. The successful candidate must possess proven analytical skills, be very detail oriented, able to organize and carry out a large number of activities and tasks on a daily basis in a fast moving production environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Must possess good visual spatial/detail relationship perception. Must be team oriented in support of attaining daily departmental goals in a fast moving production environment.
