Hertz Improvement Process Coordinator

Are you looking for an opportunity to streamline process creating a more efficient and cost-effective workplace. As the Hertz Improvement Process Coordinator you will employ Lean methods for capturing, defining, analyzing and streamlining business processes for better delivery of services, data flows, approvals, feedback loops, internal controls, and process execution, which include: Working in small to large groups to analyze current business processes and make changes to improve the business environment and productivity Conducting Kaizens (a Japanese philosophy that focuses on continuous improvement and eliminating waste) with people at all levels within the Hertz organization Manage organization, quality, distribution and publication of business processes for continuous refinement and as references for training guides and institutional policies. Escalate issues to the Functional Managers   The successful candidate must possess the following requirements Exceptional leadership and communication skills Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required Bachelor's degree in a related field along with a minimum of 2 years prior management experience. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends. Computer skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills Comfortable speaking in front of people Positive attitude about the program and Hertz Creativity and ability to think outside of the box Ability to multitask Desire to become an Area Manager Willingness to travel as required One year of car rental experience Airport knowledge Interested candidates should review the first 4 chapters of the "The Toyota Way" to become familiar with lean principles and terms such as kaizen & muda.
