Human Resources Manager

Hunter Engineering Company is a world leader in automotive service equipment offering state-of-the-art wheel alignment systems, brake lathes, tire changers, lift racks and brake testers.  Hunter equipment is approved and used by vehicle manufacturers, automobile and truck dealers, tire dealers and automotive service facilities around the world. 

 

We are currently searching for a Human Resource Manager for our Durant, MS facility. 

 

Responsibilities:

Will interact with the local Plant Manager to insure compliance with existing policies and procedures, while keeping abreast of Federal Regulations which affect the working environment.  This position will entail general HR duties as related to employee relations.Specifically to include employee recruitment, orientation and discipline while promoting and aiding a solid employee/management relationship.

 

Position will require a background in safety: preparation of accident reports and investigation, safety inspections, employee training, along with changes and updates/recommendations made to management to reduce employee risk within the facility.

 

Will be responsible for developing, coordinating and facilitating training programs for both hourly and salaried personnel to increase potential within the plant for future advancement and to further abilities in current positions held. 

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Five to ten years experience in Human Resources

Safety background preferred 

HRIS experience

High level of organizational skills, along with excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel 

Advance PC skills in spreadsheets and presentations
