Responsibilities Team Leader of Hybrid engineering test team. Develop operational excellence best practices to support injury free, error free, waste free and barrier free participation.
• Manage daily activities of hybrid engineering test technicians to reach corporate operational goals on Injury Free, Error Free, Waste Free and Barrier Free.
• Operate department to budget and look for cost savings when applicable.
• Maintain a clean work environment utilizing work place organization.
• Coordinate test activities with customers and management daily.
• Follow quality system per TS16949 and lead the team to maintain the system’s efficiency.
• Establish and maintain test schedule for resource planning and needs.
• Establish and maintain operational metrics.
• Perform employee evaluations as directed in Remy corporate policies.
• Perform laboratory tests as needed. Qualifications Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with employees, customers, and outside vendors.
• Proficient in use of computers, and various software applications (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS Project, Auto-Cad).
• In-depth understanding of Quality System, QS9000, ISO9000 and TS16949
• Good English skill for both speaking and writing
• Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to effectively lead, motivate and facilitate others in-group situations to achieve corporate objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree (EE or ME) or Technical degree (MET or EET) and at least 3-5 years of experience required. Other Information -Relocation assistance may be available for this position.
