Join the 4,000 employees found throughout our New York City headquarters, and in 20 factories and distribution centers throughout the country…and world.INTERNAL AUDITORAs a key member of our Internal Audit Department, you will perform reviews intended to provide a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of, financial risk assessment, fraud recognition, control systems, compliance (including 404 requirements) and governance.Responsibilities include:planning/executing assigned reviews in accordance with accepted professional standardsensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, accounting guidelines and governance statementsdeveloping detailed audit plans, programs, or documentation that supports the effort of reviews evaluating the adequacy/effectiveness of internal control systems to ensure objectives/goals are met & compliance is achievedmonitoring/following up on the implementation of corrective actionsassisting external auditorshandling a variety of special studies/projects as assigned To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, 5-10 years experience in various accounting positions, with 2-4 years experience in external/internal audit functions. Strong understanding of business systems/operations, along with the ability to plan audits or 404 reviews with little or no supervision will be expected, as will strong written/oral communication, analytical and PC skills. Solid time management abilities and understanding of ERP software are also essential. MBA, CIA or CPA preferred. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
