Job Description:



ISE is expanding our EE Intern Program for those qualified  students in either the Electrical Engineer/Design/Drafter roles to support our EE engineering efforts for our developement of our cutting-edge Electric-Hybrid Drive Systems.

Candidate should have some experiences in developing schematic diagrams.

Experience working with CAD Design teams  (Pro-E preferred) to develop physical routings, creating cable drawings, and BOM management.

Reporting to the Electric Engineering Manager, this intern role will actively support the activities and plans of the EE team within active production Engineering projects. 







Applicant must be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a interest in our products within the Hybrid or Automotive industry as it related to your current EE curriculum or current project.

Position Requirements:

Working on your Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering (MS, PhD)

Experience designing automotive/vehicle wiring harnesses is a plus.


Areas of interest span:  Schematic capturing, Wiring Harness layout, Packaging and fastening in CAD environment, as well as Power Management (High Voltage)

Creation and management of physical Manufacturing Prints

 

High Quality of Oral/Written communications skills within teams

Work effectively in a fast paced production/design engineering team

Willing to work/relocate in sunny San Diego, CA

Experience using E3.Cable

Experience using Pro-E

Experience designing wiring harness for automotive/heavy-duty vehicles
