IT Developer III

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide technical and systems development leadership in solving the company’s most difficult technical challenges and implement the proper technologies to meet the business needs of the company.REQUIREMENTS: Assume lead role on work assignments and delegate tasks to the development team. Design, architect, and develop the most technical applications, using company standards. Use leading edge technologies to advance the state-of-the-art within the department, and provide models that can be replicated in other applications throughout the company. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Application Development Life Cycle and the ability to lead efforts in implementing life cycle practices. Write and review complex technical specifications. Actively work with customers to determine business needs, perform systems analysis tasks, assist with user testing, and implement the system. Troubleshoot complex problems. Provide customer support. Provide on-call production support as required. This may require evening and/or weekend work. Participate in the development and documentation of standards within the department, especially technical standards, and be able to clearly communicate those standards. Teach and mentor support staff. Provide training classes, one on one support, and specific design solutions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS degree (Masters preferred) and 3 years of related experience or at least eight years related experience is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
