IT/IM SAP MANAGER
Job Purpose:
Implements and maintains information technology strategies by managing and developing staff; research, define and implement technological systems and strategic solutions. Coordination of IT/SAP systems and IT providers to support the NAFTA JIT (Just In Time) front-end module assembly plants and the Troy Corporate Headquarters. In conjunction with Headquarters in Germany.
Duties:
*Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
* Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
* Receive calls, troubleshoot and manage open issues relating to IT/iTAC/SAP.
* Interface with Germany to schedule SAP Super Users, launch teams and resources to ensure that all activities are completed in a timely manner.
* Create synergies between IT and SAP to produce vehicles properly.
* Integration testing.
* Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies and providing training in the plants.
* Support Management to incorporate their needs into the system configuration to comply with customers needs and specifications.
* Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
* Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
* Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
* Maintains and increases knowledge by attending educational workshops for SAP modules; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Train and mentors team members for full service customer support.
* Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in Computer Science/Business Management or equivalent, Technical Understanding, Analyzing Information, Staffing, Problem Solving, Data Center Management, Developing Budgets, Coordination, Strategic Planning, implementation of SAP, JIT plant systems. Previous management experience is preferred. Must speak fluent English.German and/or Spanish is a plus.
Compensation:
HBPO offers a competitive compensation package that includes full benefits on the date of hire.
This position requires at least 35% travel to our assembly plant locations in St. Louis, Windsor and Mexico.
