IT Manager
Overview: To ensure the overall stability, functionality and performance of all technology systems at Randy’s Ring and Pinion to include but not limited to Telephony, Network, Enterprise Systems (Great Plains, RPS, Reporting), Intranet (Sharepoint) and Internet website(s). To manage, guide and mentor the team necessary to ensure this goal is continually met. To establish, plan and administer the overall policies and goals for the IT department. To analyze future technology needs of other departments, and to provide guidance for potential improvements and/or savings via process or technology enhancements.
Job Purpose (including, but not limited to):
· System stability – minimize system downtime by ensuring databases, phone systems and network are optimized.
· Great Plains Enterprise Support – Maintain, support, enhance, analyze, and train on Great Plains functionality to meet business needs.
· Software development – design, architect, develop, mentor, and manage new solutions as needed to meet business needs.
· Call Center – manage the Company Call Center technologies to ensure reliability and availability for all aspects of the system (calls in and out, routing, reporting).
· Vendor Management – manage relations with vendors for the purposes of technology support.
· Contract Negotiation – negotiate any contractual engagements for the purposes of technology support.
· Process Improvement – review, develop, and propose solutions for process improvements.

Education and/or Experience:
· Four year degree in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related subject(s).
· 5+ years experience in Information Technology including hardware configurations, call center systems and software development for a medium to large size corporation with annual sales of over $25,000,000.
· 5+ years experience managing people, projects and budgets in a resource restricted environment.
· Management experience within a Manufacturing/Warehousing, privately owned mid-sized Company strongly preferred.
· 2+ years of Great Plains implementation, deployment, end user support, and developer experience specifically with Dexterity, eConnect, VB/VBA, Crystal Reporting preferred.
· A solid blend of knowledge for the following areas within Great Plains and related modules a plus: distribution, inventory control, manufacturing, and financials.
