Information Systems Manager (Plant Floor Systems / Manufacturing Execution Systems)Responsibilities: Leads Information Systems (IS) team at TRW's location in Saginaw, Michigan. Defines architecture and plans improvements for Plant Floor Systems / Manufacturing Execution Systems at Saginaw. Plans for and ensures support of IS systems that support plant production. Develops and ensures IS disciplines related to development efforts at Saginaw (Configuration Management, Change Management, etc). Support and lead Manufacturing Systems implementations or improvements at Saginaw and as required within the North America Braking and Suspension business unit. Activities may include Asset Performance, Scheduling, Quality, MES and visibility tools to monitor and proactively handle events on the line. Manage overall location spend and activities. Assemble project teams and assigns individual responsibilities. Coordinate activities with Plant Operations, Business Relationship Managers or ERP managers. Proactively work with site Manufacturing Engineering as needed. Applies 6-sigma DMAIC methods and tools to support business process optimization. Environment includes C, C#, C++, Oracle DB, SQL*Plus, AIX Unix, PLC, Modicon, Wireless, Bar-code printing and scanning, VB, and others.Requirements and Qualifications: 5-7 years hands-on experience with ERP, Manufacturing and IS systems. Strong MES/PFS, Manufacturing and Business Process knowledge. Project leadership experience. Requires a vision of the future of information technology and its impact on business process. Excellent Written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Familiar with project management software. Some off-shift work required during non-production times - including weekends and holidays. Must be able to travel up to 60%, which may include local travel within Michigan, North America and/or International.Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree required.Equivalent amount of work experience may also be considered.
