Inside Sales Representative - Power Generation

Promote sale of equipment, related products and new products where appropriate by marketing to current and potential customers throughout the branch territory.  Products include Cummins/Onan, Kubota, Cummins Power Generation Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches. Responsibilities: ·  Effectively create availability to all market segments.·  Effectively create loyalty at the end user and dealer level through marketing of quality products and services.·  Develop assigned account list and account plans for current and prospective customers within assigned territory.·  Develop and implement action plans to obtain sales objective.·  Prepare quotations using company provided software programs.·  Accurate job tracking and forecasting.·  Coordinate all aspects of parts and service needs.·  Develop specifications for:· Engines/generators and prototype equipment, or· Power systems·  Utilize proper documentation for:· All Installation of equipment, or· All Project sales·  Provide the necessary guidance to ensure products are installed per manufacturers recommendations.·  Engines/generator and prototype equipment, or·  Power systems·  Manage the preview and review of installation reviews.·  Manage the documentation process for installation reviews.·  Utilize all marketing programs to assist our delivery partners with advertising and support initiatives.·  Adhere to company guidelines established for financial goals.·  Utilize all marketing programs to obtain sales objectives.·  Market products to end users, dealer accounts, OEM’s and DOEM’s.· Engine/generator equipment and related products, or· Cummins Power Generation and Combined Energy Systems and related products·  Assist with the training of branch and dealer personnel on Cummins, Onan and ReCon engines and generators.·  Assist with the development and implementation of: · Cummins, Onan and ReCon marketing programs, or· Mobile marketing program, or· Cummins Power Generation marketing program Education/Experience: · Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent education or work related experience.· Five years experience with construction equipment, electrical field, or generators.· Working knowledge of engine and generator applications and services.  Skills and Abilities: · Familiar with engines and generators or power generation systems.·  Knowledge or experience related to mechanical/electrical principles.·  Superior interpersonal skills.·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Proficiency in Windows-based Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.·  Current and valid driver license.·  Ability to travel, which could require an overnight stay.
