International Product Manager

Airtex Products LP is one of the worlds largest fuel pump suppliers located in Fairfield, Illinois. We are currently looking for an International Product Manager. Below is the job description and requirements.

 

Job Description:

Determine coverage parameters for selected global regions. Develop fuel delivery product offering to address customer's needs in various internatinal regions. Create database to support global product cataloging for Airtex Products.

 

ResponsibilitiesEstablish a product vision and roadmap that will enable the company to generate wide adoption of its products in selected markets.Work with Airtex Export Sales Team and with UCI Regional Sales Teams to develop fuel delivery coverageMonitor competitive capabilities and positioning.Utilize market data and customer feedback to identify and develop strategy by region.Obtain OEM and competitive sample product to evaluate Airtex feasibility Engage product marketing to translate market requirements into product saleable sku’s.Collaborate with cataloging, engineering, etc., to transform market requirements into new products.Develop make vs. buy parameters for global product offeringWork with Airtex Procurement Team and UCI Global Procurement Team to secure outsourced relationshipsWork closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely release of products.Determine new product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs.  Provide anticipated sales volumes.Have thorough understanding of customer markets, distribution channels.Manage multiple projects to scope, budget, schedule and resources.

 

Job RequirementsPrior experience in project management, strong preference for product management skills and experienceUnderstanding of automotive aftermarket Ability to work cross functionally with multiple teams.Hands on approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years experience in the field or related area.The position will require extensive international travel.Excellent oral and written communication skillsComputer experience, Microsoft Office Applications.
